* There are no lessons on all public holidays scheduled by the government of Singapore.

Learning is mainly in a classroom setting.

Minimum Age: 16 years old
Academic Level : Local Students

  • Minimum completed Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘N’/’O’ Level
  • Singapore Integrated Programme: Successful completion of Year 4 or higher.
  • School of The Arts (SOTA): Successful completion of Year 4 or higher.
  • Institute of Technical Education (ITE): Full-time Higher Nitec or Nitec.

International Students

  • China
    • Minimum completed Year 10 China High School.
  • Indonesia
    • Minimum completed Year 10 of Sekolah Menengah Atas / Umum (SMA/SMU)
  • Malaysia
    • Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) Examination.
    • Minimum completed Year 10 Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) Examination.
  • Others/International equivalents:
    • General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE).
    • Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)
    • International Baccalaureate Middle Year Programme (IB MYP)
    • International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB DP)
    • International Baccalaureate Career-related Certificate (IBCC).
    • International Baccalaureate Certificate.

 

Skills & Musicianship Test :
  • Pass AAIS’s Music Theory Placement Test
  • Pass AAIS’s Audition:
    1.  Instrumentalists: 3 to 6 minutes’ performance, TWO contrasting pieces
    2. Singers: 3 to 6 minutes’ performance, TWO contrasting songs
Language Proficiency :
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 4.5 administered by the British Council, or
  • GCE ‘N’ Level English Language – Pass, or
  • Other English Language Proficiency Tests (TOEFL score between 32 – 34, etc) – will be considered on a case-by-case basis

In case applicants who are unable to provide documentary, evidence showing the necessary the English Language proficiency, is required to sit for an English Placement Test.

  • Students must pass the requirements of assessment for each module.
  • Student must attain a minimum of 90% attendance to complete the course.
  • A certificate will be awarded upon course completion
