Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) (Lower Secondary Division)
To help young students maintain the balance between knowledge and application, AAIS adopts the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) for lower secondary students coming from a variety of backgrounds and endowed with a wide range of abilities and interests. Focusing on the lower secondary level, AAIS develops student knowledge, passion, and skills in subject content, adaptability to change and different situations, as well as making inquiries and emphasizing process. AAIS adds breadth and depth to the curriculum and engages students in projects designed to guide them through a creative process where exploration, problem-solving, presentation, and reflection help them form the bedrock of becoming 21st century learners.
The objective of this course is to prepare students for the Course for Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Upper Secondary, giving them a better understanding and overview of the academic subjects comprising of English, Mathematics, Science, and Basic Commerce and Management.
